Can someone help me with 10, 11, and 12 because I have no idea how to do this and it’s due tomorrow please show your work and explain the answer to me...you don’t have to do all of them just show your work for one of them...Thanks!!!!
#10 solve for the volume of the pyramid. The metal weighs 9.4 g/cm³. If you multiply this number by the pyramid volume you will get the weight of the object in grams.
Units are used in math and cancel out by division leaving grams. [tex] \frac{grams}{ cm^{3} } * cm^{3} = grams [/tex]
#11. Subtract the volume of the pyramid from the volume of the cube. They share same base and height. 6³ - 6³/3 = 144 in³
#12. Need to solve for the rate (dollars per volume). Multiply the rate by the volume of pyramid box and you've got an equal cost per volume.
Since they share the same height and base.
rate for the square/rectangle box is : 3$/(LWH) cost of the pyramid box is: [tex] \frac{3}{LWH} * \frac{LWH}{3} = 1 [/tex]
This makes sense because the pyramid box is 1/3 the volume so a fair price would be 1/3 the cost = $1
