3. 3 main portions
A. Cochlea- Hearing
B. Semi-circular canals where dynamic equilibrium is perceived 
C. Vestibule- Static equilibrium 
Fluid is bony labyrinth called perilymph (meaning to surround)
Fluid in membranous labyrinth called endolymph
