Answer & Explanation:
The purpose of warning labels on tobacco products serves as a danger risk, to warn the person who is intaking the tobacco of all the harmful substances or harmful things it can do to your body when intaking tobacco. The labels are required by law. In 1969, Congress passed the Public Health Cigarette Smoking Act also known as the Public Law 91-222, which prohibited cigarette advertising through television shows or on radio commercials. It also required that each cigarette package contain a label stating these words, "Warning: The Surgeon General Has Determined That Cigarette Smoking Is Dangerous to Your Health." The reason behind this is to put expose to the dangers of smoking and the hazardous things it can do to your body.
