Aileen can read 1.5 pages for every page her friend can read. Aileen's mom was very excited and she said to Aileen: "So, if your friend reads 20 pages, you can read 25 in the same time period!" Is Aileen's mom correct?

No she is not because:

Friend 1(page)x20(pages)=20(pages)
Aileen 1.5(pages)x20(pages)=30
