The Rigveda is a sacred text of Hinduism.
It was composed around 1500 BCE in north-west of the Indian Continent (which is today partially in Pakistan).
It's a collection of over 10 000 verses collected in 10 books. It's one of the four Vedas, which are all sacred texts of Hinduism. The other are: Samaveda, Yajurveda and Atharvaveda.
