Gene flow also know as gene migration is the transfer of genetic variations or characteristics from one population to another. The gene flow can be well illustrated using a flock of geese. A flock of geese migrate and enter into the territory of another flock of geese and start interbreeding. This will result to transfer of the different genes into the off springs.
