There are three main steps in the scientific method of inquiry by Aristotle. One is reading a previous work of literature. Second is drawing out a problem from the said literature and lastly, conduct a study relevant to what you have read.
Inquiry and empiricism
Aristotle began study with a question or inquiry into a topic. He then stressed the importance of factual study. Empiricism states there must be the collection of literature, data, and study to answer the inquiry which began the study. Through a series of questions and study of nature, Aristotle believed people could discover the secrets of nature.
