Anyway, no matter the type of pizza what is really important is that we can write the previous statement as follows:

Each pizza is sliced as shown in the figure below, so we can write the new number of pizzas as follows:
[tex]Number \ of \ pizzas=\frac{1}{2}+\frac{1}{2}+\frac{1}{2}+\frac{1}{2}[/tex]
But the problem is asking for a fraction greater than 1 to name both pizzas, then:
[tex]Number \ of \ pizzas=\frac{4}{2} \ or \ \frac{2}{1}[/tex]
