Using fresh images includes using those that produce an effect of clarity for the reader. The Orwell writing has five rules for effective clarity writing.
1) metaphors, smile and other figure of speech should not be used.
2) long words should not be used.
3) if possible cut the words out.
4) never use passive instead of active.
5) use everyday English equivalent instead of foreign phrases.
