The narrator of the Scarlet Ibis, is doodle´s older brother, he always wanted a little brother to play with and to have fun, but his little brother was born with severe disabilities that didn´t allow him to live a normal life, that was very embarassing for his brother and narrator of the story, and that made him uncomfortable about teaching him how to walk.
