The public-rights that complaint during which African American declines to ride city buses in Montgomery Alabama to protest separated seating is Montgomery Bus Boycott. This right was taking place from December 1955 to December 1956 and is now considered as the first large-scale U.S demonstration against separation. Four days before the boycott began, this woman named Rosa Parks and African American citizen was arrested and fined for declining to yield her bus seat to a white citizen.
