PLEASE HELP!!!! WILL MARK BRAINLIEST AND GIVE LOTS OF POINTS!!

1. Describe one way that concepts about similarity could be used in real life.

2. Write two proportions in the form a/b=c/d. Only one of your proportions should be a true equation. Do not state which equation is true and which is not true.

3. Give 3 possible side lengths for a triangle. For example, you could give the side lengths 3, 4, and 5.

Respuesta :

1) If you have a rectangular 3"x5" photograph that you want enlarged to fit a frame whose length is 20", what will the width of the new photograph be?
2)  [tex]\frac{3}{4}=\frac{6}{8}[/tex]
     [tex]\frac{2}{7}=\frac{4}{15}[/tex]
3)  9, 12 and 15 would be possible sides of a triangle.

Similarity is when two figures have the same angle measures and the sides are proportional.
In a proportion, you can cross multiply to see if the proportions are equal.  If the cross products are equal, the proportion is true.
For 3 sides to make a triangle, the sum of the smaller two sides must be larger than the largest side.
