This composition objects and figures within the outline of an imaginary pyramid on the picture plane and that way brings viewer’s attention to the main subject. Some of the examples of pyramid construction are Masaccio's “Trinity”, Leonardo's “Last Supper” and Michelangelo's “Pieta”.
