Energy transformations occur all the time. Because energy is always conserved during reactions, it transforms from one type of energy to another. Energy usually produces another type of energy like how chemical energy transforms into electrical energy in a battery. And when that battery is connected to a circuit, it powers an appliance like a light bulb which then turns that energy into light energy. All these transformations have also one thing in common when they are transformed, heat is given off.
