The tool used to track inherited traits from
parents to offspring is called Pedigrees. They are visual representations that
help us understand the presence or absence of a certain genetic trait
throughout generations. Moreover, it can determine if an individual is a
carrier of a particular trait, the possible genotype and the pair of genes that
an individual has.
