In today's advanced world, even a major might be too broadly scoped to allow a student to really focus in on a certain set of skills which they would like to employ to help focus their career. In response to this need, universities often allow students to specialize further within a major. Therefore, this offering is called B. specialization (or at some institutions, concentration).
