The political doctrine of Communism was laid out by Karl Marx. He argued that to move a country from Competitive Capitalism the masses of workers or proletariat, needed to organize, rise up, and overthrow the owners or bourgeoisie. Once this was completed a new government would set up a socialist system where private industry would end with production being run by the government. Eventually, the government would be able to step back and allow for cooperation within the country arriving at communism.
