Basically the Policy of Appeasement did not succeed with the nations it was
designed to protect: it failed to prevent war. It could even be said that Appeasement worsened the situation and actually assisted to bring out war. Failing to stop Hitler resulted with Hitler becoming so strong as to be unstoppable.
Answer:
No, it was a failure.
Explanation:
In the international context, Appeasement is a strategic plan of obtaining federal or material permits to a competitive power to avoid dispute. This term is most often used to describe the foreign policy of Great Britain particularly, of Prime Minister Ramsay MacDonald, Neville Chamberlain and Stanley Baldwin towards Fascist Italy and Nazi Germany in the years between 1935 and 1939. However, the policy of Appeasement did not work with the states it was meant to preserve: it failed to stop the war.
