After eating it is advisable not to engage in strenuous activity as the body needs to be rested in other for the food you've taken to digest well as it goes through the alimentary canal. Exercise saps energy and nutrient. Without the food being digested well for release of nutrient, muscles might cramp.
If you engage in strenuous activities like exercising after eating, oxygen and nutrient delivery to muscles might be compromised leading to muscle cramps. It is ideal to wait for like 1 to 2 hours after having a meal.
