A Midsummer Night's Dream has many themes. One of them is that the perception of reality versus dreams may vary for each person. How does the scene where Theseus and Hippolyta find the lovers asleep in the woods develop this theme?

The lovers are talking about the day before and Demetrious says "are you sure we are awake? It seems to me like we are still sleeping, still dreaming" Therefore, B is the correct answer.

Based on reviewing this passage and also your options, we would want to find an answer that would seriously follow the path of this passage that was read. One key point that I wanted to point out would be the fact on how I believe that it was actually the lovers who had to determine whether if they were either asleep or if they were awake, and because of this, this was actually the main and key point of this passage.
