The term "credibility gap" is MOST associated with which of these 20th Century events? A) World War II B) The Vietnam War C) The Kennedy Assassination D) The Civil Rights Movement

Respuesta :

I would say C.) The Kennedy Assassination. The meaning of "credibility gap" is What is said to have happened or that what is true. WWII actually happened and there is nothing wrong with that one. The Vietnam War actually happened and has evidence to how that went down. The Civil Rights Movement was a really big historical event that affected america as we know, so that is not the correct one. The Kennedy Assassination had a lot of theories and beliefs to what actually happened. In short words, the answer is " C.) The Kennedy Assassination."
The "credibility gap" was a term used frequently in journalism, and with public and political discourse during the 60s and 70s. It was used mostly to describe the people's skepticism about Lyndon B. Johnson's administration's statements and policies about the Vietnam War. So I believe your answer is B.
