National Rainbow Coalition--This organization was created by Jesse Jackson to focus on social justice concerns.
This organization grew out of Jesse Jackson's 1984 presidential run and combined forces with PUSH (People United to Save Humanity). The goal of the goal was to increase voting rights, affirmative action, and economic concerns from Reagan's trickle-down policies.
