 9th Amendment--this amendment protects individuals rights not mentioned specifically in the first 8 Amendments or the Constitution.

This amendment has been the driving force of civil rights movements and the rights of individuals in the US. Many Supreme Court decisions regarding individual rights fall to this amendment for their decision making.
