In any kind of exercises, may it be a 45-minute walk or running or swimming, beverages such as water is essential. A person must drink water before, during, and after exercises. This is because a person needs to maintain his hydration while exercising for it regulates body temperature and helps lubricate the joints. Also, it contains nutrients which keep you healthy.
To walk for 45 minutes is not a big deal. So there is no need to use any carbonated drinks to boost up the energy. They would not only boost the energy but also destroy the aim for which the a person walks. So the only drink a person who walks for 45 minutes needs is Water. Water keeps him hydrated. Because while walking a lot of water is consumed in the form of perspiration, so water as a drink is required to keep the level of water maintained within the body.
