Remark
The basic equation is going to be
f = k*e
This line, if you graphed it, would go through the origin.
This line is not the same thing as y = ke + b. There is no b term when there are 0 eggs
So what is k? Take the first line
Cups of flour (f) = 3
Eggs = 2
f = k * e Substitute.
3 = k * 2 Divide both sides by 2
3/2 = k
Check
Does this work for other values for f and e? Let's check.
f = 12
e = 8
12 = k * 8 Divide both sides by 8
12/8 = k
3/2 = k which is what we found when we used 3 f to 2e
f = 3/2e <<<<<<< Answer
