The two organs that help break down food mechanically are the stomach and the intestines (large and small intestines). The stomach helps digest the food and the intestines help turn the food into waste.
Mechanical digestion occurs in the mouth and the esophagus. In your mouth you use your teeth to break your food into smaller pieces. In your esophagus, the walls of the organ periodically contracts which further digests the food.
