a cubic block of wood is painted various colours on all sides, each side of the block has the same leng of 12 cm. thos block is cut into many blocks of equal size of which the sides are now 3cm in length. how many cubes where created from the original block

Number of cubes height-wise = 12 ÷ 3 = 4

Total number of cubes = 4 x 4 x 4 = 64
