One example of an entrepreneur taking a risk is when a CEO of a start-up company chooses to invest some of the start-up money in high risk, high reward stocks. These stocks could increase in value resulting in an excess of money. These stocks could also plummet in value which causes the CEO to lose the money he needed to build his company.
