British worldviews at the time were that the Germans were totalitarian aggressors who were seeking to destroy everything and rule with an iron fist and have to be stopped. Germans believed that the cause was how the Western imperialists ruined Germany and that Germany needs to rise up and take control of Europe and make it better.
The geographic scope is huge covering almost all continents. It included attacks in the Americas such as the Pearl Harbor attack, it included the biggest war area which was in Europe, all over Europe, both West and East, it included Africa, north of it to be more precise, it included Asia with China and Japan and South East Asia, and it included Australia which supported the allies in the war.
