They have provided us with the distance formula
Distance = speed x time
( Note the time should be in seconds or else we need to convert )
8 ) Speed = 50 m/s , t = 5 s
d = 50 x 5
= 250 m
9 ) Speed = 25 m/s , t = 3.5 s
d = 25 x 3.5
= 87.5 m
10 ) Speed = 60 m/s , t = 0.6 m
Here we need to convert time from minutes to seconds as the speed is metre per second
1 min = 60 sec
0.6 min = ?
Cross multiply
? = 60 x 0.6
? = 36 sec
d = 60 x 36
= 2160 m
