The answer is the bourgeoisie.  They were also known as town dwellers.  They came from rich merchants during the growth of towns.  Though they were commoners, they had accumulated enough wealth that they too grew as new a class in society.  Later on they were given the rights to vote in council meetings and they in turn supported the king in case of financial assistance. They advocate natural rights over the Law of Privilege.  Today, they continue to exert a huge political and economic force in society.
