the classical ideals were that human rights are supreme, universal and inherent. these concepts and ideals of justice are posited by various classical scholars such as Plato,on Socrates, stoic concept of justice and Cicero, who argued on the ideals of justice as being universal and supreme. Cicero was inspired by platonic concept of eternity or inherent nature of justice, the stoic principle as well as the universal application of human rights.
