1. Which type of clouds can you always expect to signal fair weather: cirrus, stratus, or cumulus? 2. Which type of clouds can you always expect to bring precipitation: alto, nimbus, or cumulus? 3. List these clouds from highest to lowest: cirrus, stratus, fog, altocumulus. 4. Which type of cloud occasionally produces precipitation: stratus, short cumulus, or cirrocumulus?

Respuesta :

1.) Cirrus clouds most of the time indicate fair weather.

2.) Nimbus clouds often mean that there is soon to be rainfall.

3.) From highest to lowest: Alto cumulus clouds, cirrus clouds, stratus clouds, and fog.

4.) The type of cloud that occasionally produces precipitation would be the stratus cloud. Although it is uncommon for a stratus cloud to produce precipitation, it still does occur with a slight drizzle or snowfall.

I hope this helps :)
