When rolling a fair number cube with numbers 1 through 6, what is the probability of rolling a number greater than 3?

Since there are 6 sides on the cube and there are 3 numbers greater than 6.

The probability is 3 out of 6 or [tex] \frac{3}{6} which is equal to \frac{1}{2} [/tex]
