As per the property of centroid, the centroid divides each median in the ratio 2:1.

Cross multiplying
[tex] RC = 2 CX [/tex] or say [tex] CX =\frac{RC}{2} [/tex]
[tex] XR = RC + CX [/tex]
[tex] 18 = RC + \frac{RC}{2} [/tex]
[tex] 18=1.5 RC [/tex]
[tex] RC =\frac{18}{1.5} = 12 [/tex]
RC = 12 : Answer
