An
avulsion is a type of bone fracture. This situation occurs during a physical
trauma when a fragment of bone is separated from
the main mass of bones. Avulsion fractures require immediate medical attention
and must not be taken lightly. People who have experienced this usually
underwent surgeries where pins are attached to the bones to connect them. The
injury is caused by a massive blow to the injured area causing the bone to
break into pieces. Avulsion fractures usually take between 6 months to 1 year
