A person has developed a condition where his heart valves are damaged. Explain the effects of such a condition on the circulatory system.

Respuesta :

When the ventricles are full, the mitral and tricuspid valves shut. This prevents blood from flowing backward into the atria while the ventricles contract (squeeze)., the aorta, and the body. When the ventricles finish contracting and begin to relax, the aortic and pulmonic valves snap shut. These valves prevent blood from flowing back into the ventricles. This pattern is repeated over and over, causing blood to flow continuously to the heart, lungs and to the body hope this helps. could you answer my zebra question

Answer:

Heart valves are flaps of tissue that stop blood from ventricles going back to the atrium. If blood were to flow backward it could put an extra strain on your heart. Your heart will also have to work twice as hard to keep the blood flowing through the body. It will affect the circulatory system because everything in it (blood vessels and blood) depend on the heart. If the heart is not working properly, then the whole circulatory system will be off balance.
