A 24 inch x 30 inch poster is made from picture that is 4 inch x 5 inch.
As we can see here the picture of size 4 inch x 5 inch has been expanded to get a new picture of size 24 inch x 30 inch.
If we draw a new picture with reference to a given picture but large in size as compared to the given picture then it comes under expansion.
Hence this is an example of expansion.
