In the 1900s Asian immigrants mainly settled in the West Coast - California -, they went to the US because of the California Gold Rush that started at 1850s. This movement created “Chinatown” in San Francisco, as a way to isolate the Chinese people into one place.
In 1900s Latino immigrants settled in the southwest, during that time the US was facing an economic boom and Latino immigrants worked in factories and in farms.
