Compare and contrast the multiplication rules for 1 and 0 with the division rules for 1 and 0 (This is my first time on this website :D)

Respuesta :

when you multiply something with 1, that number stays the same ( 5x1=5)

when you divide something by 1, that number again stays the same because 1 goes into it that many times. ( 7/1=7)

when you multiply something by 0, it doesn't matter what number, but that number becomes 0. (4x0=0)

when you divide something by zero, it doesn't matter what number it is, it is "undefined"  (5/0=undefined(not a number))

but when you have  0/5 (not 5/0) it becomes 0, just like multiplication.

when you have  1/5 (not 5/1) it becomes a decimal, like 0.2. (1/5=0.2)

hope this helped :)
