I think the component is hostility. From most research there is a connection between type A behavior pattern and coronary heart disease. The recent researches show that Hostility is the most toxic component of the type A behavior pattern. Hostility is a better predictor of coronary heart disease in aged men than the variety of other sociodemographic and physiological risk factors including drinking, smoking among other factors.
