In a parking lot, some cars have 1 spare tire and others have no spare tires. All together, there are 43 tires and 9 cars.How many cares have a spare tire? Help...Please!
If you multiply the 9 cars by the amount of tires (4) you get 36 if you take 43 tires minus 36tires you would get 7. Therefor 7 cars didnt have a spare tire
