Grendel
in a Beowulf story was described ambiguously. His qualities are ancients
however he is capable of human thoughts such as rationalization and
intellectualization. He could also experience emotions that makes him more
human as people in the story observed him. He was also described (in the story)
as a ‘resurrected Christ’.
