Given that line p has a slope of 8 and y-intercept at (0,5)
Given this follows a straight line equation of the form y=ax+b where a is the slope and b is the y-intercept then the equation for p is:
y=8x+5
After dilating p with scale factor 3, then the new line will be:
P=24x+15
thus the slope=24 and y-intercept is (0,15)
