volume of the sphere is 500/3 π cubic units.

Find the value of x .

To proof

FORMULA

[tex]volume\ of\ sphere = \frac{4}{3}\pi r^{3}[/tex]

where r is the radius of sphere.

As given in question

[tex]volume of sphere = \frac{500}{3} \pi\ cubic\ units[/tex]

now as shown in the diagram

The  radius of the sphere is x.

put all the values in the above equation

we get

[tex]\frac{4}{3}\pi x^{3}=\frac{500}{3}\pi[/tex]

[tex]x^{3}=\frac{500\times 3}{3\times 4}[/tex]

[tex]x^{3}=\frac{500}{4}[/tex]

[tex]x^{3}=125[/tex]

[tex]x = \sqrt[3]{125}[/tex]

x =5

Thus the value of 5 units.
