Cheryl could not believe that Joyce would not be pleased at all. She had tried everything in her power to appease the unruly child. From baking his favorite cake to buying him another hamster, Cheryl had tried hard all day. She knew Joyce got that way when he was sick, but today was a little unusual even for him.
