PLSSSS this is URGENTTTT!!!!! A point H on a segment with endpoints B(3, −1) and Z(12, 5) partitions the segment in a 5:1 ratio. Find H. You must show all work to receive credit. I also NEED the WHOLEEEE explanation plsssssss.

Points kinda work like numbers.  We just want a weighted average of the two points.  We'll be closest to the point with the bigger weight, so all we really need to write is

[tex]H = \frac 1 6 B + \frac 5 6 Z[/tex]

The weights must add to one, that's where the denominator 6=5+1 comes from.

Plugging in the numbers:

[tex]H = \frac 1 6(3,-1) + \frac 5 6 (12,5) = \left( \frac 1 6 (3) + \frac 5 6(12), \frac 1 6 (-1) + \frac 5 6 (5) \right)[/tex]

[tex]H =\left( \dfrac{21}{2}, 4 \right)[/tex]

If you like it please Brainliest me; I'm close to something here.
