Answer: A political speech of Hilary Clinton about the participation of women in national security and world peace negotiations.
Explanation:
Hi, I chose a political speech of Hilary Clinton at Georgetown University in 2017.
She appeals to the emotion of the feminine audience by discussing the role of women in world peace and security, their participation importance, and she compares two situations: the actual cuts to diplomacy by the current administration and the good results in security and world peace when women are involved. She quotes Defense secretary James Norman Mattis with the phrase “if founds to diplomacy are cut, I have to buy more ammo”. And finally she causes an ovation when she says that she is back with facts and analysis.
The participation of women in important decisions argument connect to my life because I met a lot of women through my life that were crucial for my education (teachers) and behaviors ( my mother and sisters) and surely they need to be standing up for their rights.
In conclusion, in this speech Clinton addresses the empowerment of women through the years (since the 90's) and that the world is going in a direction were women are going to have a more important role in important global decision.
