Tony owns a special pet store that sells only snakes and elephants.Currently he has a total of 11 snakes and elephants in stock. The animals that he has in stock have a total of 12 legs.How many of his animals are snakes

Elephants have four.  

12/4 = 3.  

11 - 3 = 8  

He has 8 snakes.
