5. The contrapositive is the equivalent one.

If P then Q

becomes  

If not Q then not P.

We have P: student plays basketball and Q: student is over 6 feet so we're looking for

If the student isn't over 6 feet then the student doesn't play basketball

Answer: 2nd one

That's the addition property of equality, second choice.  We add 4 to both sides of an equation to get an equally valid equation.

It's also technically the subtraction property because we could subtract -4 from both sides.  They're probably looking for the other answer.
